Rasen Ragdoll

The Ragdoll breed was founded in the USA in the 1960s. The breed description is an easygoing and calm cat that is devoted to its owners. The breed is cuddly and likes to be petted. The medium-long coat is easy to care for. A Ragdoll thrives in both houses and apartments, and is therefore well suited as an indoor cat. It usually gets along very easily with other cats, dogs and children. A Ragdoll needs a lot of attention and does not feel good about being alone for long periods of time. It prefers to be with its owners, but it also does well with animal companions such as other cats or dogs. A Ragdoll can, if they want, relax all its muscles when they are picked up. The feeling is that they are as loose as a rag doll. Hence the breed name. A Ragdoll grows for a long time, about three years, and sometimes in jerks. A fully grown cat usually weighs around 3.5 - 5 kg if it is a female and 6-9 kg if it is a male. Ragdolls come in three different patterns: colourpoint, mitted and bicolour, all with or without tabby patterns and in ten approved colours. Read more about the breed on Scandinavian Ragdoll Club
