Welcome to Beddesand´s Cattery

We who stand behind SE*Beddesand's are me, Malin Beddesand, my husband Dick and our three children. Our breeding is in Oskarshamn, a small coastal town located in eastern Småland. I grew up with house cats and I think that one, or more, cats in the home bring joy, love and relaxation.

I am involved in cat sports and am a board member and deputy secretary of Calmare Cat Club. I have completed breeder training at SVERAK and PawPeds and I sometimes attend various lectures on cat health, breeding and care through various cat clubs.

No cat is less valuable than another, but all cat associations and cat clubs in Sweden are against mixed breed breeding. I personally have a few reasons why I am against mixed breed breeding and in favor of purebred cat breeding. If you want to know more, you can read the section "Why a cat with a pedigree?"
